Oh say it isn’t so! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are DESPERATE to show off their “chemistry” (*cough* is that what that is…) on screen, according to media reports, and are looking for a movie that they can do together. Ahhh… be still our collective hearts!

Apparently this mysterious film-to-be must make little Katie a bona fide star (and drop her sweet ‘girl next door’ image), but will also try to accomplish the arduous task of putting the Tomster back in the good graces of the movie-going public. Hmmmm... good luck with that.

So this means he’ll probably be looking beyond the typical action roles… but what does that leave? We don’t know, but we probably won’t bother seeing it. Unless they do something like a ‘Sid & Nancy meets Fatal Attraction but funny’ movie that really grabs us. No mushy love story will do, and we don’t give a crap about an L. Ron Hubbard biography either! Wow us, TomKat… and you’ll find yourself back on the MovieSquad’s Christmas card list.
