If the name isn’t familiar, where have you been? Helen Hunt is probably most famous for two things, one, the sitcom Mad About You (co-starring Paul Reiser) and two, her role as Carol Connelly in the film As Good As It Gets (co-starring Jack Nicholson) for which she won an Academy Award in 1998 (was it really that long ago!).

Helen Hunt also appeared as the lead female tornado hunter in the hit movie Twister (co-starring Bill Paxton). The question of whatever happened to Helen Hunt, or where is Helen Hunt now is one asked by numerous people because she was at the top of her game and then seemed to disappear.

The answer seems to be yet another woman who got married and had a little break from it all. Helen Hunt married actor Frank Azaria in 1999, but they divorced in 2000. She’s now with Producer and Director Matthew Carnahan and they have a daughter together, born in 2004.

Helen Hunt is still working, albeit briefly. She appeared in Empire Falls (2005), Bobby (2006) and is presently filming Then She Found Me, which is set for a 2007 release. All in all though it’s a shame such a cool actress seems to have all but disappeared from our screens, still, at least you know what happened to Helen Hunt now thanks to MovieSquad.
